Arrive
Delhi after breakfast transfer to Railway station to board train for Kalka.
Shimla - The capital of modern Indias mountainous State of Himachal
Pradesh is known as the queen of Indias hill stations. Set at an elevation
of 2213 m in the pine-forested Shivalik Hills, this was once the summer capital
of the British administration in India from 1864 to 1939. This hill station
still retains a very colonial character in its architecture, especially around
the main street called The Mall .
Day 02: Shimla
Shimla is one of the most popular hill stations in India. The hill station
was referred to as the 'Queen of Hill Stations' during the Raj era.Ridge is
the place to bask in the glory of the lazy sun. The place remains abuzz with
tourists and is wonderful to have some light refreshment.
Shimla
Sites to Visit Sankat Mochan Temple,Jakhu Temple. After noon to see the Mall
is the heart of Shimla, which is dotted with shops, restaurants and clubs.

Day 03: Shimla
Excursion of Chail,Kufri and Naldehra:
Chail is located in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is a small hamlet with
natural setting free from fast life, pollution and concrete jungles.
Kufri is a beautiful hill station located near Shimla. Kufri is popular for
its trekking trails and hiking. Many tourists extend their tour to Shimla
and visit Kufri. The pine scented air and the beautiful views around, attract
travellers to this serene hill resort. There are a number of beautiful spots
that one can visit when in Kufri.
Chail Sanctuary
Chail is a beautiful hill station and a popular resort. The deodar and oak
forests and grasslands around the town are part of the sanctuary. One can
see sambhar, ghoral and cheer phesants at Blossom and Jhaja - where there
are pheasant breeding centres. Barking deer and khalij pheasant are often
spotted at dusk and dawn in the sanctuary. Treks from Chail to Gaura and Chail
to Jhaja are popular. The scenic, nine hold golf course with its springy turf
and crown of deodar was laid out at the instance of Viceroy , Lord Curzon
. So enamoured was he by the beauty of the spot , that he named his youngest
daughter Alexandra Naldehra .(23 kms)

Day 04: Shimla - Manali (280 Km 8 Hours)
Drive from Shimla to Manali is a beautiful hill resort in the state of Himachal
Pradesh. It is 40 kms away from Kullu, another popular hill station of North
India.Upon arrival transfer to hotel rest of the day free at leisure.
Day 05: Manali
Sight
Seeing Of Manali Hadimba devi temple. It is about 1.5 kms from Main Mandi.visit
the Manu Temple,Gompas are the Tibetan monasteries. After noon free. Overnight
At Hotel.

Day 06: Manali
Full Day Excursion to Rohtang Pass
Places to see on the way to rohtang : Manali Kothi:
12 km. A quiet but picturesque spot. The Rest House overlooks the narrow valley
and commands views of the mountains. Below Kothi, for more than a kilometre
the river Beas flows through a deep gorge The site of the bridge provides
an interesting historical episode in the early annals of Kullu.
Solang Valley:
13 km. A splendid valley between Manali and Kothi which offers views of the
glaciers and snow-capped mountain peaks.
Rahla Falls:
2 km from Kothi. Here the river Beas hurtles down from a height of about 50
metres. Charming spot for picnics.
Rohtang Pass
51 km. At an altitude of 4,112 metres on the highway to Keylong, the pass
affords a wide-spread panorama of mountain scenery. In place of the pinnacled
hills, sheltered valleys and cultivated tracts, the eye meets a range of precipitous
cliffs, huge glaciers and piled Moraine, and deep ravines. To its left, 200
metres higher, is the little lake of Sarkund (Dashair) visited by a number
of people, the general belief being that a bath in these waters effects a
cure of all bodily ailments-real or imaginary. 10 km before Rohtang is the
barren-landscape of Marhi which hums with activity during summer and autumn
months because almost everyone stops here for refreshments.
Day 07: Manali - Delhi (570 Km 14 Hours)
Drive to Delhi a journey of 14 hours. On arrival transfer to Hotel
Overnight at Delhi.
